De afgelopen tijd is Ford er overtuigend in geslaagd om het publiek warm te laten lopen voor haar EcoBoost-benzinemotoren. Ze staan inmiddels bekend als soepele en pittige blokken, die tegelijk spaarzaam met brandstof omspringen. Door al die aandacht zou je bijna vergeten dat het merk onder het ECOnetic-label ook al geruime tijd zuinige dieselmotoren uitbrengt. Dat label plakt Ford sinds kort ook op de dieselende Focus TDCi, die we als Wagon gelijk maar eens van stal halen.
